  2. He is telling him this because she isn't ready to marry anyone. She is to young for marriage this age but, also he wants her to be in love with Paris before the to are to be wed. & This is a regular Elizabethan attitude because most of the family just put to people together and told him that they had to be wed. Then you had your familys that wanted there son or daughter to be happy and be in love with the person that they are to married to. This is what juilet's dad wanted but, he didn't want her with Romeo because of the family fighting going on for a long time...

  3. A leading citizen of Verona and head of one of the two feuding families. His attitudes seem to display a mixture of qualities rather than conveying a sense of consistency of action. When the audience first sees him, he is calling for a sword to join in the fighting of the servants and young men in the opposing households. He acts this way even though he is an older man and a more dignified behavior would most likely be more appropriate for his age. This means he is very well known. He is a little older than the rest of the men that are fighting.

  4. No its not typical Elizabethan attitudes. Its rater unusual because the parents usually didn't care if the daughter or son loved the person they were being forced to marry. That shows that Lord Capulet has his daughters feelings in mind, but still wants here to marry Paris.
