  1. My favorite quote from the play is "Sad hours seem long". This quote is one of my favorite because it's true. I've spent enough hours depressed(or sad) and it just felt like the day was going by in slow motion(Or not even going by) and I hated it.

  2. "Thou cutt'st my head off with a golden axe" is one of my favorite quotes from the play Romeo and Juliet. The quote is talking about that being banished is the same as death.

  3. "But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
    It is the east, and Juliet is the sun."
    When Romeo says Juliet is the sun, he is saying she is the light in his life. The earth revolves around the sun, as does his world around Juliet.

  11. My favorite is "O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
    It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
    Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear;
    Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!" because this is when he first sees Juliet and it kind of felt like love at first sight.

  16. My favorite quote from Romeo and Juliet is "there's no trust,
    No faith, no honesty in men". This means you really can't fully trust anybody. This speaks to me because I trust people way to easily.

    1. My favorite quote is " He that is strucken blind cannot forget the precious treasure of the eyesight lost." And the reason why I chose this one as my favorite was because, Benvolio had suggested that Romeo should forget about Rosaline, but instead Romeo sticks to what he feels. And say well, no matter what I will love her. And it doesn't matter if love isn't there. He would never forget her. And I totally agree.

  19. My favorite quote in Romeo and Juliet is "What's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." I picked this quote as my favorite because I can relate to it more than any other, because I have had boyfriends and my friends/family would judge them without knowing them, just how his family was.Which I think is very wrong you should know someone before judging.

  20. My favorite quote is "My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep, the more I give to thee, the more I have, for both are infinite." It means that their love will go on forever that there is no end, another quote I have come to love is from " Annabel Lee" The quote is " We loved with a love that was more than love." It also means that their love will go on for forever, that their love is more than normal love, but a love that is spiritual, elevated and beyond the usual love felt by ordinary lovers. This is the kind of love that people will die for. This love is not just physical and not just sexual, but it is the love everyone hopes to find and almost no one does. This kind of love is eternal and continues even after death.

  26. To me the best quote is the one where they say. He that is strucken blind cannot forget the precious treasure, of his eyesight lost. And the reason why I chose this one as my favorite because, I can see why Romeo felt the way he did. He's not just going to forget about, Rosaline because he knows for himself that he loves her. And know matter what happens he is going to cherish his love for her. And I think that is one of the best things that someone can do.

  27. "A pair of star- crossed lovers.." Is my favorite quote from Romeo and Juliet, there is more than one meaning to it people could see Romeo and Juliet and lovers or just two teenagers in love.I would see them as two teenagers in love but this quote is meaning that they come from two different places and still fell in love they don't care what their family thinks about it so they find their way around their parents to see each other without them finding out because they are so in love and don't want to stop seeing each other.
